How we work

Our approach

Every question deserves
its own approach

Every question gives a unique approach. Together we decide what is really necessary. No training or coaching program is the same, because the stories of learners are different and the organisational needs are different.

In the steps below we describe how we work and what you can expect: how do we get to the right program and how do we make sure that the results are lasting.

Goal setting: what is the wish?
We start with an exploring interview. What is the wish and the urgency? Which contract do we make? In coaching we use the 'coaching monitor' to monitor results.

Program development: what is needed?
We will develop the program based on what is need to realise success. Of course in consultation with the client.

Session: powerful learning interventions, coaching or training
The learning sessions, coaching or training, are powerful, inspiring and challenging. We focus on learning by doing. The time length depends on what is needed or what is possible.

Transfer to practice: how do we continue?
Of course we use practical assignments and we monitor progress, but we also work with buddy groups, peer coaching groups and coaching at the workplace. By the coach/trainer, the manager or mentor.

Securing: sharpen the saw and development.
With instruments like the 'Intention Circle' or an online platform to keep goals 'top of mind' and organise feedback.

Evaluation: How is it now?

Evaluation after for example half a year. We celebrate success and talk about how to continue.

Theories and models

Applied sciences

At Senaro we choose theories and models based on practical knowledge and experience.
We use applied sciences that match perfectly with what is needed and has proven to be effective.
Amongst many others, we are frequently using the below theories and models, but we are developing continuously: we like to improve!

Rational Effectiveness Theory
- RET -

RET is a ‘matter of fact’ method for testing obstructing beliefs to reality, instead of seeing them as obvious.

Neuro Linguistic Programming
- NLP -

NLP helps to recognise and change the interaction between thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviour.

Integral Eye Movement Therapy
- IEMT -

A therapy during which eyes are moved to create new connections in the brain and thus reducing emotions or eliminate them. This method has the reputation of creating quick and lasting results in complaints related to fear, phobia and when people get inexplicable emotional in certain situations.

Intention
Circle

An Intention Circle is a practical method to prevent people from falling back into old habits. A learner states his intention for the future. Others check - individually - if this intention is ROUND (Realistic, Ownership, Urgence, Necessary, Durable).
It works as a mirror, a magnifier and a pressure cooker at the same time. The result is that new behaviour will really last.

Walking coaching

In walking coaching you will choose the nature spot we go to. By calmly walking, nature will get you more in contact with yourself. The physical movement provides mental action. You will have more peace of mind, so that you are more capable of making choices and decisions. The coach will reflect and confront where necessary. Sometimes we will look back, to get ahead.

Coaching monitor

The Coaching Monitor is an evaluation instrument developed by NOBCO (Dutch Order of Professional Coaches). Coaches, coachees & clients get more insight in the effectivity of coaching. It is a user friendly tool to evaluatie coaching programs.
our trainers

Everyone has his own strength

We are a team of creative people which allows us to improvise and show the flexibility needed to find learning solutions that work. We enjoy working with customers who want to learn, have a goal in mind and will not hesitate to challenge us. We like to walk on unmarked paths. We challenge people to take an extra step, confronting yet always respectful. We encourage ownership and autonomy with those we train and coach. We listen truly, without judgment.
